    ### AAA Marine Flush-Mount LED Docking Floodlight, 398 Lumens, 12V/24V, RWB6985

The flush-mount version of this slimline light is useful where an integrated appearance is preferred over a projecting bracket. It can be considered for a docking or cockpit lighting arrangement in which the mounting surface already provides the desired aiming direction. The compact housing keeps the installation visually tidy, while the white finish suits many fibreglass boat interiors and exteriors. Because a flush-mounted fitting offers less freedom to aim after installation, the position of the opening deserves careful attention before any cutting or drilling begins.

### Choosing and using this product

Hold the light against the intended surface and assess the beam direction from the normal operating position. Check for reflections from the hull, deck and windscreen, and consider whether another part of the boat will cast a shadow over the area being lit. Measure the available space behind the panel as well as the visible face; overall housing dimensions should not be treated as a cut-out template. Use the actual fitting and installation instructions to establish the opening and fastening locations. Provide access to the cable connection so it can be inspected later, and protect the wiring from abrasion at the panel edge. Although the enclosure has a high waterproof rating, this particular model is expressly excluded from underwater use. Match the supply and circuit protection to the complete installation, and check operation before closing access panels. For docking use, keep the beam directed away from neighbouring helms and people on the wharf.
