    ### AAA 38mm 90-Degree Composite Stainless Capped Skin Fitting for Marine Plumbing

This AAA 90-degree skin fitting combines a high-strength engineered composite plastic body with a highly polished stainless steel exterior cap. It is intended for above-waterline installation only and is sized for 38mm (1 1/2 inch) hose internal diameter. The exterior cap has a 60mm diameter, which is useful when planning the visible spacing of hull outlets or comparing a replacement with an existing fitting. The composite body provides the plumbing connection while the stainless cap gives the exposed face its polished appearance. AAA includes assembly features intended to assist single-operator installation. Those features do not remove the need to check the hull, hose and mounting dimensions before starting the job.

### Choosing and using this product

Confirm that the entire proposed mounting position remains appropriate for an above-waterline fitting. Check the 38mm hose internal diameter against the hose you intend to use, and measure the available exterior area for the 60mm cap. The cap diameter is separate from the required mounting-hole size, so obtain the correct cut-out and body dimensions before drilling. A 90-degree body also needs enough space inside the hull for its hose connection, clamp access and a natural hose route. Plan the route so the hose is supported and does not pull sideways on the fitting. Check the recommended bedding and assembly method for the composite body and the hull material, and avoid excessive tightening. Do not use this fitting below the waterline or infer a pressure, temperature or fluid approval from its appearance. Inspect the completed hull joint and hose connection for leakage and keep them accessible for later maintenance. When replacing a fitting, compare both the visible cap and the internal geometry before removing the original part.
