    ### Jabsco 18590-2092 12V Marine Livewell and Fish Box Evacuation Macerator Pump

Toilet macerator pump suitable for evacuating livebait systems and fish boxes. Macerates leftovers into slurry for discharge. The supplier page title states 49 L/min, while its description and the catalogue state 46 L/min. Confirm the current model performance before selecting it for a required flow rate. 12V, 16A.

### Choosing and using this product

Use this pump as part of a planned evacuation system, with the inlet, outlet and discharge destination checked against the current installation instructions. The macerating action processes suitable waste from the stated application; it does not establish that every solid object, chemical or foreign material can pass through it. Keep unwanted items out of the tank and check the manufacturer's limitations before connecting an existing fish-box or livebait system.

Match the pump voltage to the boat's supply and confirm the stated model against the old unit when replacing one. The listed current is important for planning the electrical circuit, but cable size, fuse selection and switching must follow the installation requirements rather than being selected from current alone. Allow access for inspection and servicing, and route the hose without kinks or unsupported loads on the connections. The advertised maximum output is not guaranteed at every hose length or discharge height.

Before operating, check that the inlet can supply the pump and that the outlet is clear. Do not assume that a macerator is suitable for continuous operation or dry running unless the current manufacturer instructions specifically permit it. Discharge arrangements must comply with the rules applying where the boat is used. When used with fish-box waste, establish an appropriate collection or discharge method before installation. After fitting, inspect for leakage and verify operation with the system's normal fluid under controlled conditions. Keep the pump accessible so a blockage or worn component can be addressed without dismantling unrelated equipment.
