This Australian-made Nairn skin fitting is produced from white acetal nylon and has a tapered outer head intended to reduce drag. The 40mm (1 1/2 inch) version combines a barbed hose tail with a BSP male threaded section, allowing the connection arrangement to be selected for the intended plumbing layout. For a direct threaded valve connection, the hose tail can be cut off as part of the specified configuration.
