    ### Marine 25mm Reinforced Nylon Bulkhead Y Diversion Valve for Boats - RWB1456

25mm Reinforced Nylon Bulkhead Y Diversion Valve. This bulkhead-mount Y valve is made from reinforced nylon with stainless steel fastenings. It is intended for toilet or pump diversion, providing a means of selecting between plumbing routes in an appropriate system. The body is arranged for mounting to a bulkhead rather than relying on the hoses alone for support. The stated hose size identifies the connection option, and should be checked against the actual equipment and existing hose before a replacement or new installation is planned.

### Choosing and using this product

Map the proposed inlet and discharge paths before choosing the mounting point. Leave room for the valve control, the hose bends and access to the fastenings. A convenient location should still allow the plumbing to run without kinks or undue strain on the ports. Check that the mounting surface is suitable and follow the system's installation guidance for securing the body. Select hoses and clamps appropriate to the service and connection size. In toilet plumbing, the valve arrangement also needs to be consistent with the boat's holding-tank and discharge system and the rules that apply where the boat is used. A diversion valve alone does not establish a compliant discharge arrangement. Isolate and drain the relevant system before disconnecting existing hoses, and test the completed installation in each intended valve position. Check the diversion control before operating the connected pump. Keep the valve accessible for inspection and operation, including after lockers have been filled or panels replaced. Make the selected flow path clear to anyone operating the system. Recheck the mounting and hose joints during normal servicing, particularly after work on nearby pumps, tanks or sanitation equipment.
