A long, low-profile cabin light can distribute illumination across a working or living area without the appearance of a large circular dome. This LED fitting has a fluorescent-style format, making it useful to consider above a galley, table or other elongated interior space. Its built-in switching gives local control, with the exact switching functions depending on the version selected. Compare the body length, available mounting surface and output together when replacing an older strip-style light, as a similar shape does not guarantee matching fixing points.

### Choosing and using this product

Plan the position so the lens illuminates the area in use rather than being hidden behind a shelf or shining straight towards someone seated nearby. Check clearance for cupboards, hatch openings and the switch at the end of the fitting. If replacing an existing lamp, inspect the old wiring and compare the mounting holes before assuming the new light will cover them. Match the supply voltage and use appropriate circuit protection for the complete installation.
