    ### AXIS Large Marine Polyethylene Bait Board with Two Adjustable Mounting Legs

The AXIS RWB5485 is the large rod-holder-mounted version of this injection-moulded bait-board range. The board is made from UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene and combines a dedicated cutting area with two recessed tackle or bait holders and a large recessed draining tray. Moulded centimetre and inch scales give a convenient reference along the board. The large cutting area provides more working room than the small boards in the range. This package uses two fore-and-aft ratchet-adjustable aluminium legs for mounting in suitable rod holders, so choose it according to the mounting arrangement already available or being planned.

### Choosing and using this product

Compare the two proposed rod-holder positions with the 225-635mm mounting-width adjustment range. Check insertion fit, usable depth and holder angles before setting the legs, then use the available fore-and-aft adjustment to establish a practical board position. Allow for the full 720 x 475mm board footprint and room to remove the assembly when required. Keep access to the adjustment points and avoid interfering with motor tilt or boarding. Confirm any drainage-hose connection separately; no large-board barb size is published.

After a fishing session, remove loose tackle and clean the working surface, recesses and draining tray. Rinse salt from the mounting assembly and inspect the adjustment points before the next outing. Keep knives stowed when not being used, and check the board is securely supported before cutting. The moulded scales are convenient on-board references; where a catch measurement matters, check it with an appropriate measuring method and the relevant requirements. UV stabilisation describes the board material, but routine cleaning and sensible storage remain worthwhile parts of looking after the assembly.
