    ## Flush Recessed Stainless Fuel Breather - 20mm Hose - 50mm Face Diameter

316 stainless vent sits flush outside the hull, with pipe facing upward to help prevent water entry. Includes rubber gasket and fixing hardware.

### Specifications and product details

Hose size: 20mm
Face diameter: 50mm
Maximum hull thickness: 32mm
Product code: RWB2844

### Match the vent to the hose and mounting space

A tank breather should be selected around the stated hose size, mounting direction and installation limits. Compare the available space on both sides of the mounting surface, especially where the fitting has an angled connection. Check the intended tank application before pairing it with existing hoses and fittings.

### Selection and fitting

Plan the hose route and fitting orientation using the applicable system instructions. Keep access available for inspecting the connection and maintaining the vent opening. Where a maximum hull thickness is stated, measure the actual installation rather than estimating from the outside. Include the fitting in routine checks for obstruction, loose connections and deterioration. A replacement should match the required function and connection size, not simply the visible exterior finish.

Connection measurements are a key part of choosing this version. Check whether the specification refers to an inside diameter, outside diameter or a nominal connection size, then compare it with the adjoining component. Measuring the actual connection before ordering helps avoid a mismatch that may not be apparent from the outside appearance of the fitting.

For a refit, take measurements before removing the existing item and retain a note of its position and orientation. This gives you a useful reference when checking the replacement and helps keep related fittings aligned throughout the job.
