    ### SELMA Stainless Steel Splicing Fids Set of 4 with Tube and Instructions

This Norwegian-made SELMA kit provides 4 stainless steel fids for making rope splices. The tools are shown in the image; their sealed storage tube and illustrated instructions are also included.

### About this product

Each hollow, tapered tube guides rope during the splice. The set covers the stated double-braid and three-strand rope sizes, while the listed inside diameters describe the tools rather than rope sizes.

Work to the rope manufacturer’s splicing method and the supplied illustrated instructions. A completed splice still needs the correct construction, dimensions and inspection for its intended use; the tool set does not establish the finished line’s load capacity.
